Photograph shows a 14mtr tall statue of Jesus Christ. There was a previous statue of Jesus on the hill, sculpted by Anastasio Martínez Hernández and inaugurated on 31 October 1926 but this was demolished after an agreement voted by the Municipal Council in November 1936 during the Spanish Civil War The 2nd and current iteration of the statue is a work by Nicolás Martínez Ramón, son of Anastasio Martínez Hernández & stands 14mtrs high on a 20mtr plinth. It stands 4mtrs higher than its predecessor and was unveiled on 28 October 1951
