Teeny was surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society along with several other animals after their owner was evicted from their residence. The 10-week-old Chihuahua mix, who has a huge personality and absolutely loves everyone he meets, is looking for a forever home.

In what seems to be an increase of not just homeless pets but also an increase of unwanted and unplanned litters for owned pets, the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) has unfortunately seen an uptick of the sheer number of animals in need of help. In addition to homeless dogs, cats and critters coming through the shelter, there has also been a huge increase in the number of owners in need of help, seeking resources or found to have pets in unsafe and unsanitary conditions, AHS said.

A train containing a large shipment of flour derailed just north of town, and without it, they can't bake for Reaper's Eve (17th) so she has to drive a truck out there to unload as much flour as the truck can carry before critters get into it.

Au naturel walk; 62°F, 81% humidity, slight breeze; clear sky except near the horizon which obscured first light. No critters to report today, at least any obvious ones. Planning out my shots, I might try to do 8 as a series covering the walk, then do a few more detail ones in a separate post.
