I had never done embroidery before so while I waited for my #Crochetree yarn order to arrive I practiced making the dolls face a few times following the pattern instructions.

It gave me some confidence before trying the face out on a crochet doll!

I came across Crochetree a few months ago (and their public FB group) of everyone sharing the dolls they made and just knew I needed to make a doll for myself & my child.

I based this first doll on the pattern Iris but used more colors for her hair (to be a rainbow). Then made clothes from Naomi.
