Scotland, & probably rain 🌧️ awaits. 😉 #CroixDeFer in 'touring mode', but not camping on this occasion. Panniers are Ortlieb gravel pack panniers 14.5L ea. Will be able to use just the Topeak saddle pack 6L for a few days.

More pics from road to Lochinver. We did approx 40km & 500 metres climbing on this leg. StacPollaidh road is a detour off the main NC500 route. Radar light counted 68 vehicles. Felt fine. Just one convoy of 'luxury tanks' spotted...

Houston we are cleared for launch!
After a day of packing & repacking, we finally got out for an evening test ride with full kit. That's everything from the tent to the toothbrush.
And the verdict 👌
She purrs along like were just off to the shops 😊

After (right) with the Shimano RX010 wheels, new Panaracer Gravel King slick tyres, Madison Flux Classic saddle & some bar tape to match. Now I my may be biased but I think she looks 😍
