Two more days of #CrossBorderRail . Today it's going to a short ferry ride across the Strait of Messina onto mainland Italy, then Villa San Giovanni - Reggio Emilia AV on Italo 8944.

Tomorrow I plan to continue on to Milan, Zurich, Paris and finally Brussels.

1) Ashford
2) Stratford
3) Ebbsfleet

Doing #CrossBorderRail again, storm Austern or not. Brussels-Paris-Zurich-Milan-Reggio Emilia AV. Now arriving in Zurich: both trains so far were a bit late, but fortunately I planned with very comfortable connection times.

My favourite usage statistics:
It was origin expected a maximum of 50% of pax would be through passengers Berlin <> Paris. In fact, these trains are 80% full, with 75% of pax travelling the full distance. An excellent result for a service with 7h45+ journey time.
