Day 3: Alien Invaders

Vegeta from #DragonBall decides to skip the formalities and just wants to destroy Earth, meanwhile Lum from #UruseiYatsura has another opinion.. 🤭
Digital mock-up manga page, resembling Akira Toriyama's style, featuring Vegeta from Dragon Ball and Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Exterior rocky wasteland with only the wind howling. Vegeta stands alone on the fields. Next we cut to an extreme close-up of Vegeta, gritting his teeth and growling under teary eyes. Next, he forms a round energy projectile above his head, shouting angrily, "That's it! I'll destroy this entire planet!" His shouting continues off-screen, meanwhile we cut to a close-up of long, dark hair moving at high-speed. "Everything gone in one big blast!" Next we see a close-up of tiger-striped boots while Vegeta yells his last regards, "So long!!" Bottom of page: large, watercoloured panel with red background. Lum has finally arrived with a purple energy stream with blue lightning surrounding her. Her mouth is comically large as she shouts back at Vegeta who looks surprised. "I won't let you harm my darling!!"

Day 1: Heralds of Hope

Came across a crossover-focused art challenge!

Yuna from #FFX is expected to bring hope to Spira, meanwhile one of Aragorn's names in #lotr is Estel which literally means 'Hope' so I reckoned he'd come and share some encouraging words to the young summoner 🤓
Digital short comic featuring characters from Final Fantasy X and The Lord of the Rings. Panel 1: Simple green backdrop. Yuna is sitting on the grass with her back turned. Auron, one of his guardians, arrives, calling her by name. Yuna quickly turns her head in surprise. Panel 2: Auron gestures with his hand at a dark stranger standing next to him, smiling under his collar. "There's someone I'd like you to meet. An old fiend." Panel 3. Close-up of Yuna's face as she looks up at the stranger with awe in her eyes and the air around her; sparkling in hues of pink and orange. "Lady Yuna. Your path is filled with sorrow, but as long as you have hope, your lands will heal." Bottom: frameless illustration of Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, standing in front of Yuna, offering a warm smile and words of encouragement. He gently holds her hand in both of his. Yuna appears surprised while her back is turned. "Similar to a king's, the hands of a summoner are also the hands of a healer."

Day 2: Clan Killers

Clockwerk from the #SlyCooper games hated the Cooper Clan so much he swapped his body with a robotic one so he could hunt them for centuries.

Had him visit #LionKing and try to recruit Scar.. or give him the idea of taking over the crown!
Digital colour illustration featuring Clockwerk from the Sly Cooper games and Scar from Disney's The Lion King. Exterior, African plains during sunset, sky ominously crimson with sun setting behind the Pride Rock in the distance. Clockwerk stands in his massive, metallic owl body, his wings spread and eyes glowing yellow. His beak has a smile as he is discussing with Scar who is seated in front of him. Scar, much smaller that Clockwerk, sits with his back turned to Clockwerk, head turned to him with a raised brow and a wicked smile on his face. He has one of his lion fingers raises and scratches his chin as he appears to be pondering whatever Clockwerk is saying to him.
