Also disgraceful that this happened on Dec. 10, 2023 and after two and half YEARS, the case is now nowhere and the Crown has 6 more weeks to come up with something else. Why do Canada's #crownprosecutors never have to explain their often incomprehensible actions? We need better ones, MUCH better.

Since she’s been in office, in early 2023, reports emerged that #PremierSmith allegedly contacted #Crownprosecutors or their offices regarding cases related to the #Couttsborderblockade, where armed protesters blocked a major #Alberta border crossing during the #COVID-19 vaccine mandate protests.

"It is up to us all to protect the values of freedom and equality enshrined in the Charter — to keep building a better Canada, for all."

It would be helpful if #Canadian police & #CrownProsecutors refrained from charging well-meaning #activists with various crimes for peacefully #TellingTheTruth.

If Canada is among the top 5 countries with the most freedom I feel sorry for most other countries, because #Canadians don't have as much freedom as they think.
