I think Haikyuu canon deprived us of the chaos that would have ensued with Suga and Bokuto together alone and unsupervised. Now make them vampires. #CrowsDen

Text Screenshot: They kept up their act not just until the car, they were not taking any risks with the security level one of the permenant residences of Blue Castle, even if it was a hotel. It was when the car was finally parked in an average residential area that cousin Kou, or rather the leader of Fukurodani Owls Bokuto Koutarou, called out "Hey, hey, heeeey," clapping hands over the stearing wheel and flashing an absolutely mirthful grin. Suga could not help but smile. "I wasn't expecting you, cousin Kou," she said. "Buuuuut," Bokuto chided. "No complaints, Bokuto san." "Good thing we arrived earlier," Bokuto replied, "Did you really want Akiteru handling that?" Suga joined in on her laughter and answered, "Was supposed to be the fearful cousin, not the frightening cousin." Bokuto's laughter only became louder, "I can imagine that!" Bracing herself for actual trouble, Suga asked, "So, who told you?" Bokuto brushed it off with a hand gesture, "It was Akiteru. No worries, only Akiteru and Daichi know." Suga gratefully bowed her head. "Pfft," said Bokuto, "whatever it is you think they should or might know." Suga shook her head, "Nothing yet."

I had three notes with “stuff” in their names, all non-fiction. So, I give you trans vampire Suga and slayer Oikawa #WIPSnips. This scene is one of those looks-funny-but-actually-daily-horror moments.

Text Screenshot: It was the same with the fake surprise at seeing the two come over to the table instead of only Oikawa. She was not allowed to fake it too well. It had to be good enough for just her cousin from out of town but not for Oikawa, he should be observing the signs that would tell him she was faking it. “Cousin Kou…,” said Suga with a fake nervous smile that was perfectly fake and fake surprise that was not that well faked. Standing up to greet her cousin, she kept her bag and jacket in front of her, something any woman did who had stuff in her lap and had to stand up, certainly not to hide an erection. She noticed - with no little satisfaction - how Oikawa was wearing probably his longest jacket. Oikawa laughed, something small and nervous and much too shy for his personality. “Guess who was at the front desk, Koushi san!”

More #WIPSnips from trans vampire Suga and slayer Oikawa. Kinda #OiSuga, the story isn't ship-centric. #CrowsDen

I've posted the one-shot that brings them together as a separate fic, which takes place a few months before this.

Haikyuu fic text screenshot: Oikawa Tooru had an addiction. Blue Castle regularly checked all their members and their adult family members for substance abuse as well as any other health issues, including all kinds of non-human influence that could be physically or mentally tested. His addiction was not that simple, though. He wished he could get tested for it and get clean. From the outside, it did not look serious, he showed no obsessive behaviour, no sign of mental or physical dependence, no symptoms of redrawal during prolonged intervals between exposure. He did not spend any more on it than he did on hair products or the occasional exotic coffee that went excellent with milk bread, and he had no problem focusing on his tasks or his team. Only he himself could recognise that it was an addiction, he and - probably - she, the source of his addiction, the very substance from which he did not want to redraw.

More #WIPSnips from the vampire AU fic #CrowsDen. In this one vampires turn into actual birds instead of flying mammals and Harukui has the shifting time record.

When I saw the snip word I was thinking about how Konoha is like a lantern being drained without burning in the beginning of the story.
Text Screenshot: The alleyway made a corner that was a dead end. The providers had tried to make use of one of the human drug dealing hotspots but the slayers had caught up to it. One of the vampires had started climbing up the building wall but it was restricted with a cuffed hand. The handcuffs had a long chain between them, Akinori's estimate was 160 cm. Two slayers were fastening the other cuff around a street lantern post as Akinori watched from above. The other one had already been shut down and was on the ground, the smell of vampire blood slowly rising in the air. The first vampire was in too great of a panick to think about breaking a wrist to get out of the cuff. When he flew away to where Shimufu was perching, Akinori already saw Harukui approaching and owl-signaled him the rooftop on which the four should gather.

Haikyuu vampire fic #CrowsDen and it's the #OiSuga plot again, with trans vampire Suga.

Text Screenshot: Looking at the bathroom door, behind which she was crashing and swearing, it clicked: *strict family*. "Did she ask for me specifically?" It was not hard to figure out that he had to stall as much as possible. "Not so much," the intimidated receptionist answered. "So, how do you know she is looking for me?" He felt a ping of pity and guilt, but was soon distracted by Kiharu dashing out of the bathroom and putting on clothes with an impressive efficiency, still swearing. Standing in front of him so that he could adjust her panties and zip up her skirt, she used the time to type something on her phone. "Well," the receptionist explained, "the lady gave quite the description of you and..." She was interrupted by a loud shout of "Koushi!" meant to be clearly overheard. He looked up at her and mouthed the name, to which she nodded. She was right about shedding the name, it did not suit her.

The vampire AU Haikyuu fic starts with hurting Konoha and his partner a lot. It was a little hard, doing this to Konoha. It's just out of love that I wanted him to be at the receiving end of it.

Haikyuu fanfiction excerpt text screenshot: He did not want freedom as dearly as the knowledge of having hurt Akinori's muderers. It was nothing as trivial as killing their whole clas and leaving one survivor, one human was not enough to understand the pain of having lost Akinori. He knew, he had still been a human less than two months ago. He could not tell exactly how long it had been since his turning. His first days as a hatchling were fuzzy, but they had reassured him that it was normal. Between sleep and feeding he had missed two whole days in a span of six, with no memories. He had lost exact count of the days in these walls. His turning he still remembered, with too many details. It was one of the things he had repeated in his mind, finding strength, distracting himself from everything else. Akinori smiling, whispering, and Nishinoya holding him tight like he had been the most precious thing on earth, how was a guy to forget that? How would anyone not long to go back to that embrace, the embrace that now only existed in half.

And one from the vampire AU Haikyuu fic #CrowsDen.

Maybe with a hint of #YakuNoya (not directly as romantic partners).
Haikyuu fic screenshot: With an even tighter hold on her waist, Noya bent over as well, his chest over Mori's back, pressing lightly. Mori swiped two fingers over Kenma's shoulder, and he changed back to the map of the Iron Wall fortress and its vicinity. "North is the best approach," said Noya, "but it's also closely watched. South-East," Kenma ran a finger along and the area in question popped out, magnified, "would be one of our best choices," Noya went on, "but it takes greater precision. There's not much margin for error there."
