Crucabena is such an interesting villain. From the very beginning, she told every one of her children they were going to die. Clervie knew her own mother wanted her dead. Crucabena told them they would die and showed them how. Like a lamb being shown the knife that'll butcher it.

I’ve been working on some lil warmup sketches between commission work of Arlecchino and Crucabena in the ways she still haunts Arlecchino to this day. And then I decided to crack down and drew some animal inspired reverse predation. Arle is a hare. Bena is a wolf-snake thing for reasons ;)
