Fully disagree. They have physical locations everywhere. They could be given the tech to do it right at a national level. A centralized voting system with proper decentralized cryptographics would solve the problem forever.

This is approach to discussing this: Ongoing work is needed in election security and assurance – which we know how to do – but it was not an issue by any measure. Read below + follow Matt if you don't already, a published cryptographics and secure systems professor who is a public authority on this.
Unfortunately, I have to say this again:
US election infrastructure isn't perfect and there's still work to do to make it more secure. But there is simply no credible evidence that the 2020 election outcome was altered through technical attacks, despite exhaustive scrutiny.
