im taking my windows key off when i draw 💀 nothing frustrates me more than having my process constantly impeded by mistyping a shortcut and having some fuckass windows menu that i've never seen in my life pop up and switch CSP out of focus

One big tip I'll give about reference is you have to make your piece look consistent. I've seen so many people just trace models in CSP or Photoshop and you can absolutely see the bones of that reference. You can't stop at tracing it, you have to actually think about how to match it to your style.

When you have to redo an already perfect line because csp lagged while drawing it so it's connected to a random weird line after the lag...wooo amazing

phone may have died but I won't let that stop me
sketch captured on a MACBOOK WEBCAM and shoved into CSP for a very low quality render
so many details from the sketch are lost but hopefully I'll get a new phone and remake this soon
No tag because I WILL redo this but Kinktober prompt "Elaborate"!

what's worse is that there's no "restore all tabs from last session" option in CSP, which means every time i've needed to shut down/restart my computer during that time, i've had to manually close it and then reopen it the next time thinking "i will do this soon, i'll keep it open so i don't forget"

for anyone keeping track, yes it did take me 2 entire months to finish the last 15% of work on this. it's been open in a CSP tab this entire time and i finally found the juice to get it done today. wow all those tiny BG details i did are TOTALLY visible in the final pic huh

i would never let myself do unnecessarily detailed shit like this for a project i'm actually getting paid for and need to finish in a reasonable amount of time, but when i'm doing personal art it's really fun to just zone out for hours and sketch out background elements full of hatching like this

The result from today's live stream on Twitch! Jaci's character art is almost done, all that's left is rendering and she'll be done! 💜
So happy to be able to draw again after a busy schedule. I feel like myself again. 💜🙏🏽

For some reason I'm not sure if I want to stick with CSP forever, like I have this urge to try to find a cheaper long term solution. At least get away from this subscription shit, feels unsustainable.
