Culpeo spots culpeos, destiny awaits
That is a thing I have in mind when I decided for Damien to be a culpeo (and same with Mango being an andean squirrel); being a native species of South America
here's a fun question for you: what would your fursona be if it had to an animal that *actually lives in your area*?
hard mode: no domesticated animals with a consequentially global range--that would mean, for example, canid and ungulate species have to be species actually found in the wild

That is a thing I have in mind when I decided for Damien to be a culpeo (and same with Mango being an andean squirrel); being a native species of South America
Oh, you’re good! Now that I think of it, one might be a Culpeo fox or another member of Lycalopex (since it’s showing the broad range of Canidae.) also behind the dhole is a bush dog, and there was also a black backed jackal that’s not in this photo.

Also really wild the Fuegian natives seem to have independently domesticated a non-wolf Canid. I think that’s unique? The Furgian dog was domesticated from the culpeo or Fuegian Fox, which is actually more closely related to a jackal.

Also managed to get a photo of a Zorro (fox*). I've seen them throughout the trip but they scatter at the sight of me, this is obviously a more commonly used camp spot and they're more used to scavenging from humans here.

The flowers are pollinated by hummingbirds and other birds, and possibly by the culpeo fox (Lycalopex culpaeus) which manages to get past the leaves to lick at the abundant nectar.
