Rose Bowl presenters said the renovated space includes museum displays — including a converted 1922 locker room and California High School Football Hall of Fame artifacts — and noted the stadium will host soccer matches in the 2028 Olympics.

Museum staff said exhibit installation work will start later this month with a target opening near June 1 next year; staff noted a curator of interpretation has been hired and the halftime registrar position remains open.

The commission approved contracts to bring an Ice Age Encounters exhibit (woolly mammoth) to the 2026 Weber County Fair and to contract Stern Dirt Racing for the May Mania Demolition Derby at the Golden Spike Event Center; staff said the demolition derby typically generates $30,000–$40,000 in revenue.
