The Melbreak & Blencathra hunts are two of the worst.

Good to see they've been issued with warning letters by @Cumbriapolice on grounds of anti-social behaviour & noise nuisance etc.
Next step = prosecution.
Hunts "decline to comment".

Brilliant work by the RSPB team at #Geltsdale #Cumbria in helping these chicks to fledge.

Otherwise, this is completely appalling and the criminal killing has to stop. #HenHarriers @northpennines.bsky.social #CumbriaPolice

#actionfraud won't investigate because they can't work out what crime has been committed
#cumbriaPolice refer you back to the banks, because stealing £4000 isn't a real crime.

7th man arrested, investigations into ILLEGAL FOX-HUNTING by #ConistonHunt😡
#CumbriaPolice made arrests in Ambleside 8 Nov 2025 suspicion of unnecessary suffering to protected animal
One on suspicion of possessing UNLAWFUL FIREARM

Returning from Carlisle today we saw two kittens on the motorway, M6 southbound, just south of J40 Penrith. Contacting @highwaysagency they told us that @Cumbriapolice were aware and attending- I can't help but wonder, did you rescue them!? @RSPCA_official @CatsProtection

RT @_JoanieP: RT @Cumbriapolice: M6 Northbound closed at J39 due to a number of collisions in fog. Traffic being diverted up the A6.

Encouraged by quick & positive response I got from @Cumbriapolice road policing unit when I contacted them about the WMP close pass project.

Suffered a ridiculous close pass in Kirkby Lonsdale the other day which motivated me to contact @Cumbriapolice Pleased they're listening.
