A little repurposed restoration 🧵
(This is So Cool!)

My neighborhood was developed in the 40s. So whenever I see curb debris from a kitchen renovation I always look for drawers. They are typically made from old growth wood which usually has lots of great grain and figure.

After fully sanding I stained it with some minwax red oak 215 stain, which is my go to dark stain. No prestain conditioner to make sure the grain popped. Finished with minwax gloss brush on poly.
Holy... that fire grain rocks! Whoa!
