I feel more normal today. Still filling his water dish and talking to him and seeing him everywhere and smelling the empty spot on the blanket where he should be curled in the shape of a cutworm until afternoon and pretending I sense something there when I know there isn't. Other than that, normal

Take your pick - it’s a Variegated Cutworm Moth or it’s a Pearly Underwing. How can a moth have a slightly terrifying common name and a cute common name at the same time? Either way, it’s a first for this year in the trap last night.
