Do you realize that trump/musk want to sink the dollar and replace it with bitcoin or cybercash.
The plan is to tank the economy.
This is a finance equivalent of the Epstein Case

They will never probe that foundation b/c the entire US Economy is currently being transitioned onto the architecture that Trump's crypto company is creating

The UAE doesn't have a 49% stake in World Liberty Financial by accident

Never gonna happen
House Democrats call for Treasury probe into Trump family crypto venture

In like 1997 I was working at an early ISP and we installed this software called CyberCash. It was one of the early digital currencies, and it was supposed to enable micropayments and revolutionize the internet. It bombed. People have been trying to make micropayments worked ever since then.

It's as though the guys at Bezos’s Trump-indulging corporation dimly register, on some level of their consciousness, the possibility that they, the bitcoin broliarchs, are the “baddies,” even while telling a story about this world-historic Black female “patriot” who uses cybercash to feed the hungry

It’s true. I remember dealing with digital currencies in the 1990. We were hosting web sites and set up a thing called CyberCash so our users could charge micropayments. It didn’t go anywhere.

I should've fact-checked myself, lol

But seriously. The man got a magazine cover with the headline "How the Gingrich Stole Christmas." This was my childhood.

The ideas of radical libertarians James Dale Davidson and William Rees-Mogg, as recounted by @quinnslobodian.com

This feels like critical context for understanding what Musk is up to.

Trade is still money.

I used to tell customers who asked if I took AmEx, "I take everything except bitcoin and wampum."

Whether it's paper money, gold, stocks, fictional cybercash or bits of seashells, humankind will always have a currency.

Shhhhh it’s okay, it’s just a 25 million horsepower per second network that happens to be the most secure on the planet. Go ahead and build your competing cyberCash Sir or Madam. Knock yourself out. Please. 42 million shitcoins, what’s one more.

I don't *think* so?

It was one of our customers that actually specialized in porn. They ended up being "cybercash for porn", using our software to do it.

Our other big customer was Peanut Press. So we were *also* important for early ebook payments. Oh, and "Linux Mall" was another.

When someone follows me, I look to make sure that the words "cybercash" and the like don't appear anywhere in their bio. If so, I block them, as well. So far there have been no "hi, you're cute, send me a message" things like on Facebook. Just as well.

My pet conspiracy is that Musk was using all of this to obfuscate more serious SEC violations he would be subject to for illegally (prior to this) becoming a silent investor in CyberCash, who created micro payment arcades and introduced Musk to cyber payment, which he took to X.com banking.
