I can relate, Neene & Rina are my oldest OCs, had them for like two decades, but it was only over the past five-ish years that they became my mains, for a while I just didn’t know what I wanted for them (yuri obviously, but what genre/setting) tried many things before a cyberpunky setting.

i do like cyberpunky vibes, it must be said. and "dude who made himself stupid strong instead of replacing his stuff" is a fun archetype to consider. the only downside is that he doesnt get a cool cyberarm with tricks in it this way

But you know who did a REALLY good job of capturing an atmosphere similar to the original FFVII’s Midgar?
