Before (2013) / After (2021) the cycle path along the departmental road in Castine-en-Plaine, built in 2015. It connects several small picturesque villages, and I think it was mainly created for cyclotourism, which was the primary focus for cycle paths in the French countryside at that time.

I was cycling 2019 in Hokkaido with a very good friend.

So far away, in a very special area.

There’s one in Ottawa east that stretches 72 km and ends in Rigaud. The Prescott Russell trail is about to get all kinds of investments to connect a few key areas such as the last 5 km into downtown Ottawa which will be huge not only for locals but for cyclotourism.
