#pyromorphite - dainty green clumps like mineral moss, but the oddness of those "rolled, incommensurate atomic sheets" of #cylindrite is intriguing. Still on #TeamCylindrite in this round of #MinCup26

It's cool that a fungus, Paecilomyces javanicus can make bio minerals of Pyromorphite (sometimes an ore of lead) in lead-polluted soil, & lead has been used in pigments since antiquity. Now sold as a resin art pigment. So it gets my art vote over Cylindrite with its cool crystals. #MinCup26 #artHist
