Let's recognize the vital contributions of immigrants to our economy. On 2/3/25, many businesses in Hillsboro’s Calle Diez closed and workers stayed home to highlight their economic impact. Now they are open again. We can show our SUPPORT by shopping at Calle Diez.

"LOS PORTALES DE MI TIERRA," by William Hernandez, is a mural in the city's Calle Diaz /Tenth Avenue community and cultural hub of Hillsboro. The foreground features a thoughtful woman in vibrant traditional clothing, holding calla lilies, surrounded by flowers, fruit, vegetables, a mortar and pestle, and a bird. In the background, the mural depicts a clear sky, a mountain, a river, a forest, and community buildings, including many apartment homes and a church.
