From the FtT this morning, 57% of the new car market in Russia has been captured by Chinese car companies as sanctions limit access to alternatives and they are cheap. The downside according to taxi drivers is that they only last 150km, not 300km like European brands. www.ft.com/content/d228...

In discussions of £29-37k starting salaries we should also factor in student loan thresholds/repayments and removal of bursaries (in same period as erosion of real terms pay). HE policies are part of pay debate.
