It's fine. It's a third-party adaptation that comes with an adventure set in the medieval past of the Vampire setting. It's not even the furthest they've ever gone in that direction; Monte Cook made a whole D&D3e version of a World of Darkness setting back about 20 years ago.

A Halfling, is a Hobbit.
Not a Elf that was left in the dryer too long.
It's probably my 1 criticism of the D&D film, Bradley Cooper's halfling just took me out.
