It is not all D6s. It at the moment uses the full range of dice from D4s to a D20. Your attributes tell you your base pool of dice and then skills, traits and gear can give you more. Modify your or your opponents rolls. Or upgrade your dice.

As a pyramid d4 purist, who gets overly grumpy about alternative d4s, I think shard d4s are actually pretty great. They might be winning me over a little.

When I was in college I basically lived with majority of my D&D party.
Let me tell you there were mornings I'd wake up and basically have to dodge d4s because it was either missed or we forget to grab it.
It was an amazing time but also, ouch.
