Our DACWIRE project on drought adaptation of crop wild relatives is thriving! Plants are growing very well. We've just inaugurated a new drought exclusion facility. We've also started measuring plant traits @iicg-urjc.bsky.social @biodiversosurjc.bsky.social #DroughtAdaptation #CropScienc #DACWIRE

Within the scope of the #DACWIRE project about #cropwildrelative conservation we have developed a workshop on seed conservation in the facilities of the www.urjc.es. We had a great time with the students of the different degrees of the URJC.

The work in preparing the seeding has been great. We have reached 90% germination and the plants look great. #DACWIRE #cropwildrelatives #climateadaptation

New bioRxiv preprints from #DACWIRE project!
Three new studies explore how Lupinus angustifolius (blue lupin), a crop wild relative, is adapting to drought and changing climates. Here's a quick overview 👇
