I also tried making daidu a laid back, funny, charming, type, who would be very relaxed compared to magnai... But now i know he's a lying funny, charming type who hasnt had a break since he was born❤️

Heph's main tongue is ishgardian (french) but he speaks quebecois 😂 on account of being raised away from ishgard by a garlean ishgard speaker :]

heph is unfortunately demi to a fault, i think he's capable of being poly but so far hasn't happened. he gets attached and falls hard, it took him 30 years to get over his wife he knew for like 3 years and with daidu it's a long arduous involved courtship that takes another 20.
How does your WOL approach romance? Are they mono, ethically nonmono, unethically nonmono, friends with bennies, aromantic, so on? How do they approach someone they're interested in? 🤔 Tell me about it!

more backstory notes. Daidu's mother was physically and mentally ill and couldn't care for herself. They survived on the kindness of sympathetic clan members and Daidu looked after her himself until. well. he couldn't. heh.

Yeah seriously! This is a nice article in English. I don't think it was the only elephant ever though. Khubilai Khan rode on back of four elephants between Daidu (Beijing) and Shangdu (Xanadu). I would not be surprised if he or an other Mongol prince brought an elephant up north
