A SCOTS GP has been barred from working at her small Glasgow clinic for ten months after falsifying death records to avoid a probe. Dr Lea Cramsie certified that deaths had been reported to the procurator fiscal, when she knew they had not. By knowingly ticking the wrong box on the death certificate of 31 patients over a six-month period, Cramsie avoided the deaths being selected for a review by the Death Certification Review Service (DCRS).
