But an upload timeout alone cannot identify a DDoS, much less its operator. Flooded API requests may explain the symptom, while attributing them to 313 Team requires separate technical evidence.

DDoS protection wouldn't cause *forced follows* though—that's usually a bug in the follow sync logic when the backend's struggling to keep up with bulk unfollows.
