It is highly unlikely you have a cold it's probably covid just test yourself 😭 not all sick is the same and there is vastly diff treatment for flu or covid!

i could still prob do the flu vax sooner snd then the covid one in early nov.. but i would prefer getting them both at once and just letting them take me out for a weekend bc i usually feel real sicky for a couple days while my body does its thing. just a pain having to block out two diff weekends

Ugggghh the measles and TB situations are getting worse and flu is still extremely high, and I am not loving that this is happening before my immediate & extended family is all going to travel & gather from diff states & countries to see 95yo grandma & the new baby (nephew), who will be <4 mo old.

I recently had a terrible couple years for my health. Strep, flu, c. diff, COVID, ovarian cysts, multiple other bacterial infections. At some point I realized that, pre-modern medicine, I'd probably be dead - not for any big dramatic reason, just the litany of everyday things that used to be lethal.
When people start saying things like "we never used to have all these new diseases and allergies and conditions they've made up now", it always makes me think about how a LOT of pre-20th century literature was based around the idea that people keep getting sick and dying and nobody really knew why.

When I had C-Diff, I was getting over a violent stomach flu (actually the COVID with the tummy stuff) and had been living on apple juice and crackers. The Mayo Clinic C-Diff page specifically cautioned against apple juice and carbs.

update: i've taken 3 covid tests (all from the same brand) that have all come back ... negative maybe ?? or with so faint a line that even with a flashlight i honest to god cannot tell if i'm imagining it. (also a flu/covid combo test from a diff brand that was negative for everything so who knows)

pharm couldn’t fill Tamiflu rx (out of stock) so going to diff pharm
