Doused is the penultimate track on DIIV’s stunning debut album Oshin. A band so perfectly suited to this challenge, they’re easily one of my favourite guitar bands of the last 10-15 years.

This song just came on shuffle, and I’m reminded of how much I loved DIIV’s Oshin in 2012. This and Elite Gymnastics were my summer jams as I walked around Seoul.

I've been thinking a lot about what art will look like during this administration and beyond. I believe it will be fuzzy and dissociative. But the record that best captures today's political malaise was released in May of last year.
