Really good session on Libraries and their importance for a caring and civilised society. It is really wonderful to see the initiatives across India, Kenya, Cyprus, Cameroon, UAE, and across the world in how Libraries democratise access to knowledge, skills, and technology. #DILC2024

The Dubai International Library Conference #DILC2024 has started at the amazing Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Over 1700 people registered for the first edition of this important conference for the local region and librarianship.

The drone experience at #DILC2024 was creative and an exemplar of brilliant storytelling. What an amazing hospitality by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in #Dubai.

I also had the privilege to speak at the Dubai International Library Conference #DILC2024 hosted by the amazing Mohammed Bin Rashid Library. I covered digital transformation, AI, OA, and treasures of libraries with a fantastic set of colleagues. There was a wonderful dinner & drone show as a social.
