Yeah that's good! I agree! But the point of discussion was about whether it would become natural and ubiquitous to the generation currently growing up such that they use it all the time in 20 years, and then if there is politically realistic policy to disrupt that. I think it's obvious there isn't

The challenge: Can we select not only which gene to disrupt with a CRISPR system, but also where in the body to disrupt it?
If we could do this, then we can eventually control gene function in particular parts of the body (especially the nervous system) even without a specific promoter.
