Our home is directly over the flight path of #DMAFB
As was our home in Las Vegas #NAFB.
I used to get great comfort from seeing all the various aircraft fly over.
Now?
I look up and wonder so many things that have nothing to do with feeling safe.
Only anger and a little fear. 😡😳

I didn’t fully appreciate the BUFF until I saw one take off out of AMARG / DMAFB and suffer a major engine failure (engine fire). It flew out, climbing, pulled the world’s biggest u-turn, and came right back, for all the world looking like nothing happened other than some smoke + fire.

My lifes been in peril with close calls 2 many times. Post 9-11, I innocently confronted terrorist about leaving his car running,& then noticed doors locked no 1 Nside. I thought he was going to rob the camera shop, reported & was escalated to FBI who found he planned to bomb DMAFB, I saved the day
