“This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.”

waiting for Trump to say the Dodgers committed a crime today
In a massive blow to Trump’s deportation machine, the ICE agents who attempted to gain entry at Dodger Stadium have been REFUSED entry and have been escorted out by LAPD. Good riddance.

The LAPD confirmed to me these were ICE agents. Not that it needed confirmation because everyone on the scene saw who they were.

You can see the ICE agents in their minivans then the LAPD cars in the back appearing to block the Dodger Stadium parking lot entrance.
When I asked an LAPD officer if they are blocking ICE from entering the parking lot she said “put it this way. The Dodgers don’t want them coming in.”

I’m headed home. ICE left and the LAPD acted with restraint during this 100% peaceful protest. Nobody was hurt. Nobody came close to getting hurt.

It’s not just about the people who have been taken by ICE. The local economy around Dodger Stadium has been decimated as Hispanic and Latino community members (even American citizens) are terrified to go to work.
