So far, I've been very glad that the resentment from the common people at the DParty hasn't resulted in the rise of a charismatic leader as the resentment against the RParty did; it seems to be expressing itself in voting in democratic socialist outsiders instead. Still time for things to go wrong.

I’ve always thought if the progressives called themselves the New Democrats, voters would be more receptive. Progressives always harp on what went wrong while overlooking the fact that the DParty has been fighting to hold the line on democratic liberalism. But I digress.
