I was actually trying to take a normal picture of the dog, but he got nosy with the camera. The autofocus in the DSC-W1 is surprisingly fast.

Used a shitty5MP Sony DSC-W1 just to change things up--literally millions of pixels.
Dead plant with tiny snowballs against a snowy background, side-lit by direct sunlight. The plant once had a flower consisting of florets extending radially from a single stem, suggesting a bursting firework or a Tinker Toy sculpture. Snow has covered the remains of florets forming spheres, while the thin stems are bare.

Supernumary Rainbow #ShittyCameraChallenge

Shitty Sony DSC-W1. The underexposure was deliberate this time, in order capture the delicate colors in the rainbow and its extra color bands.
Looking up at a corner of the roof of an apartment building in the lower left. Behind it in the blue sky is a rainbow with extra color bands below the main arc (a "supernumary rainbow"). The sun is behind the camera. The photo is underexposed in order not to wash out the colors. The photo has an overall dusk/smoky look as a result.
