Just participated in a fantastic workshop by Kenneth Koslowski and Fabian Münch on the mlts package (cran.r-project.org/package=mlts) for multilevel latent time series models. This opens up the world of DSEM to R users! Check out the package and corresponding paper: doi.org/10.1037/met0... #RStats

Or if you'd be OK with a senior PhD student I've got one with relevant subject matter and methods expertise (and who is comfortable reviewing HLM and DSEM analyses)

Finally had the time to read this paper. Overall I’m hearing heterogeneity is the next frontier for neg affect and ALC.
Have you considered using latent class DSEM? Or even CT-SEM forests?

Would be very interested to see what heterogeneity can be identified.

Yes @seanpmackinnon.bsky.social even if you don't use MPlus their DSEM resources page may be helpful: www.statmodel.com/TimeSeries.s...
Sorry if this is way overkill for what started a simple question about means and CIs! 😂

Thanks for the shout, Hannah. @seanpmackinnon.bsky.social, you should check out my work as well as Katie Gates and Ellen Hamaker. Katie is the creator of GIMME and Ellen has brought idiography into Mplus (DSEM). Both are brilliant methodologists. My work tends to be more clinically leaning.

Using Mplus for DSEM with Cycles (Free Seminar) - On-Demand
Advance your longitudinal data analysis skills with Professor Muthén’s online seminar on Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling (DSEM) with cycles, designed for PhD students, professors, and professional researchers working with complex panel, time-series, social, health, education, or psychology data. This seminar introduces cutting-edge approaches for modeling dynamic change, repeating cycles, and periodicity using Mplus, with practical coverage of model specification, interpretation, convergence and data-quality challenges, robustness checks, sensitivity analyses, multilevel DSEM, and real-world applications. Originally presented as Mplus Web Talk 7 at statmodel.com, the seminar is supported by recent methodological resources from Muthén, Asparouhov, Keijsers, and Shiffman. Participants receive access to Zoom recordings, slides, data, input/output files, take-home skill challenges, and an instructor-monitored discussion forum for 30 days, making it possible to attend live or asynchronously. An official Instats certificate of completion is provided, with ECTS Equivalent points available for European students. #DataScience #Education #Psychology #Statistics #Research #ResearchTraining #Instats

Using Mplus for Dynamic SEM (Free Seminar) - On-Demand
Join us for an online seminar on Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling (DSEM) with Mplus, designed for PhD students, academics, and professional researchers working with intensive longitudinal and time series data. DSEM offers powerful tools for modeling dynamic processes, intra-individual variability, time-lagged effects, autocorrelation, moving average processes, latent variables, and missing data, making it especially valuable for research in psychology, education, social sciences, health sciences, and related fields. Participants will learn the theoretical foundations of DSEM, how it differs from traditional SEM, how to specify and estimate models in Mplus using the Bayes estimator, and how to evaluate model fit and interpret complex outputs in applied research settings. The seminar is delivered online via Zoom and includes take-home skill challenges, access to recordings and materials for 30 days, an instructor-monitored discussion forum, and an official Instats certificate of completion, with ECTS Equivalent points available for European students. #Education #Statistics #Psychology #Research #ResearchTraining #Instats

Yes, they were soooo close with 100 days and DSEM and then just neglected the one direction/path that would have given them an iota of leverage in interpretation. Could never get published if only WB-->SM path analyzed.
And then the follow-up schlock balloons to sure, it ain't an RCT.
