DWP and NHS services for someone with ME/CFS are nothing but cruel. Got £59 fine from NHS for my obtaining free prescriptions (beta blockers, Omeprazol, nose spray, NOT for treating my disease, which NHS can't be arsed to support). #NHS #DWP #MECFS

Today I had coffee morning, then a DWP call which was far kinder than I was expecting, I even moaned at her about how the dwp was expecting too much from me 🤷🤭

Then I had my therapy call. So I was very "peopled out". Tomorrow I will have a quiet day.

If you want a good indication for how absolutely out of touch with reality this government is proposed cuts to disability support would be a pretty good starting point. It is a vastly counterproductive policy which will force more people into poverty.

This is the DWP the public need to understand. A Kafkaesque system of impossible to understand, contradictory rules which folk often innocently trip up on to which they receive a brutal, excessive response that plunges people into despair and poverty. The DWP needs to fix itself.

Just got a text from DWP: I got PIP!
It doesn't mention which part and which tier but even if it's just the lower mobility tier, it'll make a huge difference.
That's literally the best news to start the week with.
I've been dreading this text because first time applicants are often denied.
