#Shocktober 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) - What a profoundly odd movie. Dacosta has really leveled up from her disappointingly mediocre Candyman, this has some gorgeous shots and despite being structurally very lumpy, it comes together well with a SMASHING musical number of all things!

Candyman- The message of this film is brutal, but sadly real. Nia DaCosta truly has an incredible eye. The use of lighting, camera movements and mirrors is truly awesome.
This is a horror film I could show people to really tell them 'this is the kind of horror that resonates with me.'
