Curry western was definitely used for Sholay, but I've read that Dacoit Western (a term I've not heard in ::mumble mumble:: years of watching Indian films. It kind of makes sense, though, it's supposed to be a mash-up of dacoit (bandit) films and western genre.

A legend who defied caste oppression, became a Member of Parliament & served till her assasination.
