Eco-grief is a real issue and a reason I actively seek #dailyglimmers . It’s to remind myself to look for wonder, beauty and good.

#dailyglimmers Tasmania/ Lutruwita is a foodies’ paradise. Smaller family-owned supermarkets don’t sell potatoes: washed or unwashed, apples: green or red. Varieties are described + eagerly awaited such as South Arm pinkeyes & Crofton apples, a 1830’s Tassie apple. Terrible place don’t come here😋

#dailyglimmers cont. My local shops with on average have 6-8 apple varieties and at least 4 varieties of potatoes and with more & more varieties of Asian greens and spices.

I find posting #dailyglimmers, an exercise to actively look for beauty and wonder around me, as a reminder to not give up, & to balance negativity by enjoying everything that is good. It keeps away ecogrief.

It was a busy week last week. Big conversations.
My glimmer? Watching someone realise they do make a difference.
