Back to Zyuranger!
It's finally here! Daizyuzin has finally formed! It looks so cool! I miss these types of effects in tokusatsu!

On ep. 20 of ZYURANGER, Bandora makes Grifforzar AND the Green Ranger big to attack Daizyuzin (the MegaZord) during a solar eclipse, when its power is weakened(?). Incredibly, it WORKS, and the end of the episode is the Rangers trying about their Zords being burned up.

I love that this is treated the same as Ultimate Daizyuzin where they count having the mech stand on a vehicle as a "new form". Why doesn't Kyoryuger ever do that?

Black Daizyuzin

Black Daizyuzin
And that’s the predestination story coming together, with the seemingly disastrous resurrection of Burai (during which Daizyuzin *pretended* to want to kill him) actually being key to his Ultimate form. (King Brachion / Titanus is a bit of an afterthought in both shows)

After all, in Zyuranger, Daizyuzin/Megazord is already basically God, and Ultimate Daizyuzin is his POWERUP

Ah... Make sense...
Looks like they do that because of Gaoranger 25th anniversary and that's no way it will compatible with Gavarion Trigger either
Also from the rest of the line, only Daizyuzin and GaoKing who can got their recolors

Been sick with a headache cold all day, so I decided to watch Super Sentai Zyuranger. 6 episodes in. Dora Sphinx is Hella caked up. Daizyuzin can switch between humanoid and tank forms on the fly. Did the Megazord do that in Power Rangers? I don't remember. But I'm having fun.

Though that setup did create one of my favorite giant mecha fights ever: Daizyuzin vs. Fairy Dondon and a giant human Japanese boy. The absurdity spoke to me.
