Not exactly a 'birthday' person, but really enjoyed today. Family have been really kind, despite there being a lot going on at the moment. @movingonup19.bsky.social & I had a great time at Dakwala Bombay Canteen, Newcastle, where they even surprised me with a little cake. Final year of 40s underway!

Not exactly a 'birthday' person, but really enjoyed today. Dakwala is a restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne inspired by Mumbai’s traditional Khanawal eateries. They wanted a premium editorial-looking one-page microsite that captured a vintage feel from when migrants relocated to Bombay in the early 1900s while appearing modern and interactive.

Dakwala is a restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne inspired by Mumbai’s traditional Khanawal eateries. They wanted a premium editorial-looking one-page microsite that captured a vintage feel from when migrants relocated to Bombay in the early 1900s while appearing modern and interactive.
