This is a DC59 Limited Edition/3021 reissue, six string electric guitar made by Danelectro in China 2010 in a black finish. The “seal” pickguard is white and has an aged finish. It is a double-cutaway, masonite top and bottom with a plywood frame. This DC59 Limited Edition/3021 reissue is basically new-old-stock (NOS). You even get to remove the plastic on the cavity cover! The matt black finish is a sharp looking with white tolex binding. Overall, Danelectro issued this model with an aged finish that’s apparent in the body color, pickguard, pickups and tuners. The pickups and electronics are simplified to one tone and one volume control with a three-way toggle switch to choose between neck, bridge or both pickups. This model was a limited run and has unique pickups and tone. They’re strong and bright single coils with a matt finish. And, these single-coils are considerably more clean sounding than most. This is a double-cutaway Silvertone made by Danelectro of Neptune, NJ made in February of 1964. The guitar features two single coil lipstick tube pickups with stacked tone and volume controls for each along with a toggle to switch between neck, bridge or both pickups. It has a solid-center Masonite over pine body with white tolex binding, a white Masonite pickguard on which the controls are mounted and a four-way adjustable chromed brass bridge with a rosewood saddle. There's two aluminum strap pins and a redburst finish with sparkling silver colored accents. This guitar is 100% original and in good condition. With its fantastic fast action and terrific tone, this guitar plays like a dream. Although this instrument already looks lovely, a previous owner, perhaps a resident of the Haight, chose to further decorate it with Grateful Dead stickers. We chose to leave this personal touch intact as it represents part of its long history. Danelectro 56-U2, semi-hollow body (solid), electric guitar with 2 pickups, in Limo Black reissued circa 1999. This is a Danelectro 56-U2 Lefty, single-cutaway, electric guitar. It is a reissue, made in Korea, which is based on the original 1957 U2 Danelectro. It is a close reproduction of the original U2 which was sold under both the Danelectro and Silvertone brand name for Sears. It has a black, high gloss finish with two lipstick pickups. This is a 1967 Danelectro Dane series B2N solidbody electric guitar made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey. It has an off-white neck and black/white crackle finish body. This Danelectro B2N features a chambered solid body and double-cutaway Durabody. It has two single coil lipstick tube pickups, a clear plastic pickguard with thin black outline, two aluminum strap pins and a 5-way adjustable bridge. The guitar is nearly 100% original and in good condition. The action is medium-fast and has an excellent range of tones with the bridge/bridge+neck/neck selector switch options. The only thing that makes this not 100% original is the raised, plastic logo is a period correct replacement and one screw has been replaced on the pickguard. Danelectro Hand Vibrato 4021, solid/semi-hollow body, electric guitar with 2 pickups in black circa 1964. This is a Danelectro Hand Vibrato model 4021, double-cutaway, double pickup, electric guitar, made in Neptune New Jersey circa 1964. It has a black finish with a white pickguard on which all of the electronics are mounted, white tolex binding, concentric/stacked volume and tone knobs and a batwing style headstock. It also features a floating, metal, four-way adjustable bridge with a rosewood saddle and a whammy bar. This instrument will be appreciated by players and collecters. Not only does it have a great feel and a wonderful sound, it is also a good looking guitar that has held up well over the past 60+ years. The guitar is identical to the 3021 Jimmy Page played in the live Led Zeppelin shows with the exception of the vibrato and the "batwing" headstock. Here's a beautiful blue Danelectro Convertible laying on a workbench. It's got the classic Danelectro double cutaway shape, but it's completely hollow. There's a round soundhole in the middle with a lipstick pickup in it, which is controlled by a concentric volume and tone knob.

Silvertone-Danelectro U1/1317 - single pickup white/bronze/black electric guitar. This is a Silvertone electric guitar made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey in 1957. The body color is ivory. It's serial number is 5xx7. It has one single-coil lipstick pickup (which is split on one side.) The neck is straight and all the electronics work correctly. The neck feels like a standard Danelectro width but just slightly smaller. Everything appears to be original except the knobs. They are Harmony "cupcake" knobs from the 1950s/early 1960s. The body is the smaller U1 "peanut" size. Check out the "leatherette" binding, crazy! Description from VintageSilvertones.com As you can see, someone started refinishing it but never completed the project. The guitar plays fine. So it can either be a project or just a nice little guitar to jam on. Could be a hot punk rock guitar! The interesting thing is the finish is ivory, as seen on the back, but underneath that is a bronze finish. The front even has black paint under the white but that could be primer, possibly. Danelectro would often recycle body parts. So it's entirely possible the ivory is the original factory finish done over a copper or black body. Made with the "U" series Danelectro single cutaway body, the guitar has all of the typical Dan Armstrong modifications including: the two lipstick pickups wired together and encapsulated in a tough white epoxy shell, the four-way adjustable bridge, and the silk-screened logo on the clear, plastic pickguard. This guitar features the white sticker on the cover of the rear control cavity that tells the serial number and factory location. It is believed that about 200 to 400 of these were made including basses. This guitar, with it's very low serial number, is one of the first Dan Armstrong modified Danelectro guitars ever made. This Silvertone single pickup electric bass guitar was made by Danelectro of Neptune, New Jersey in 1967. It has a maple veneered solidbody. It is one of the last models of Danelectro-made Silvertone basses or six-string guitars offered before Danelectro went out of business. It has one lipstick tube pickup, a four-way adjustable, chrome plated brass bridge with metal cover and a brownburst finish. It also features a rosewood finger rest, one volume knob, one tone knob, a metal three-way tone switch and an input jack all mounted on a white, two-ply, masonite pickguard. Another guitar that we purchased modified. This one is a Silvertone Danelectro U1 baby blue repainted and modified from 1958. A classic Silvertone that got a face-lift. It was probably black originally--repainted baby blue. The tolex was removed and replaced with a modern-day equivalent. Danelectro acoustic guitar-sunburst. Here's a guitar you won't see again any time soon. It's a vintage Danelectro 6 string, acoustic guitar with a violin-style body. I really don't know much about it all. We're guessing it's from about 1969 and might be residual stock (NOS-New, Old Stock) from when Danelectro went out of business. It's in near mint condition. The neck is straight and the action is set medium. The only flaw is one minor ding on the back of the body near the binding (edge.) This is a Double Cutaway (DC59) 1959 Reissue Original Factory Spec/3021 reissue, six string electric guitar made by Danelectro in 2011 in a hand-painted psychedelic multi-colored finish. Aside from the fretboard, the entire guitar has the hand-painted psychedelic multi-colored finish including the “seal” pickguard. The guitar is an homage to Eric Clapton’s hand-painted Danelectro 3021 used during his Blind Faith period. This is a limited edition of 200 guitars and each guitar has a unique paint job. It is a double cutaway, masonite top and bottom with a plywood frame. This DC59/3021 reissue is basically new-old-stock (NOS). But, this model has been updated and made fully playable by the author of the Danelectro book: “Neptune Bound.” The author felt the guitar wasn’t playable as released. So he removed the paint from the fretboard and frets and replaced the stock bridge with a better quality chrome-plated one. So the guitar is fully playable and not a wall-hanger. The pickups and electronics are simplified to one tone, one volume control with a three-way toggle switch to choose between neck, bridge or both pickups. In the middle position the pickups are louder and act like humbuckers. This model was a limited run and has unique pickups and tone. They’re strong and bright single coils with a matt finish. And, these single-coils are considerably more clean sounding than most. The classic Danelectro-style bridge is adjustable for height and intonation. It comes with the original Danelectro gig bag, warranty card, and wrench to adjust the neck (the adjustment must be under the nut or in the neck-pocket since it’s not visible on the body.)Description from VintageSilvertones.com

This is a hollow body, symmetrical double cutaway acoustic guitar made by Danelectro. This instrument has Danelectro’s classic Masonite front and back. It also features a blond wood grain pattern finish (Formica), white vinyl leather-like Tolex binding, and a Coke-bottle headstock. It has a Brazilian rosewood bridge with a section of fret-wire across as a saddle and an aluminum tailpiece attached at the bottom of the front of the guitar with two screws. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard. There's a round sound hole intersected by a cutout where the optional lipstick tube pickup can be placed. There's two metal stud covers on either side of the cutout and three metal stud covers where the controls for the pickups can be located. It has two metal strap pins. The action is fast. Here's a simple one after the craziness of the past couple days. The Danelectro Dane is an offset-style electric, and this one is a 12-string. It's got two single-coil pickups, and each one has its own volume, tone control, and on/off switch. I really dig the red crackle finish.
