Started contributing because I wanted a timezone clock and ended up creating a plugin system & the plugin registry, few months later we now have 26 plugins in the ecosystem!

You're likely to hear this a lot right now. CachyOS, with niri and DankLinux. I've been running it for a few weeks and it's my favorite desktop experience ever, and I have long years of experience.

Folks like to post about what they're doing with Linux, so here's mine. After running Ubuntu for a year, I switched to CachyOS with niri and DankLinux. Mostly because Cashy is supposed to work great with niri.
I ran niri/Dank on Ubuntu for a few days and loved it, so now I'm all in.

Nice, love when switching infra is just a script change instead of a weekend project. Anything you miss from danklinux after moving back to noctalia, or is it a straight upgrade for your setup? Btw, let's connect and support each other!

I zone out for a few months and BAM, there's a new Desktop Environment! Just ran into DankLinux, which I can add to Niri. I'm glad I slapped together my DE on my own, but man... it's comprehensive!? no fair!

After daily driving KDE with the default config for over 4 years, I'll try niri with DMS today, and use it for a few months. The scrolling WM caught my eye.
