The Dark Web-Slinger
When the shadows start spinning webs, even the criminals of Gotham know to run.

A dark, highly detailed fusion of Spider-Man and Batman stands centered in a vertical portrait, appearing battered and almost sculpted from layers of scorched armor, torn fabric, and tangled webbing. His head has Batman’s tall, sharply pointed ears and heavy black cowl, while enormous off-white Spider-Man-style eye lenses dominate the mask. Thin dark red borders around the eyes provide one of the few strong colors in the otherwise black, gray, and ash-toned image. Across his chest, weathered red armor forms a Spider-Man web pattern surrounding a black spider emblem. His broad shoulders and arms are covered with distressed armor, shredded material, and thick strands of cobwebs that stretch outward into the surrounding space. One shoulder bears faint remnants of red markings beneath grime and webbing. His armored hands grip a rough, web-wrapped line or staff diagonally across the lower right of the composition. Curved, claw-like pieces protrude near his waist. Loose black fragments peel away from his silhouette as if the costume itself is disintegrating. The background is blurred and nearly monochromatic, shifting from deep charcoal on the left to bright gray-white on the right, making the damaged vigilante appear to emerge from smoke, dust, and darkness. Keywords: Batman, Spider-Man, superhero fusion, black armor, webbing, red chest emblem, pointed cowl, vigilante, battle damage, dark fantasy AI-generated; use is permitted for non-commercial creative projects. MidJourney, FLUX.1-schnell model via Perchance, Artspace.ai, REVE, Echoform™.

Archive Warning: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Category: F/F Fandom: Original Work Relationship: Anemic Journalism Student meets werewolf and slasher... polycule happens Characters: Lucille HarkerLonna BrayLocke SmithWilla HelsonAziza Tamun Additional Tags: Urban FantasyHorror adjacentWerewolfSlasher KillerUniversitysorceryEvil CultMemory AlterationMind ControlImmortalsImmortalSocietal Traumaeventually there will be the violent murders of terrible peopleso far the murders mostly happened "off screen" as it wereI'm pretty ace so don't be expecting anything explicit but there may or may not be effective innuendo maybe insert shrugif you don't think Lucille is going to end up a vampire by the end of the story I really don't know what to tell youseriously there are so many lampshades on LucilleI seriously didn't plan to give all three leads a name beginning with L but fuck it we ballwell there were murders of innocent people on screen now Werewolf vs Slasher (working title, prone to being changed) Summary: Lucille Harker depends on her scholarship for her health insurance and after a trip to the hospital causes her to miss a mid-term, that scholarship is in danger. She's given the option of some extra credit work that leads her to investigate two month old cases both presumed closed. This leads her to meeting Lonna Bray and Locke Smith... and realizing there's deeper things going on. Notes: This started as "dark-superhero-with-fangs-meet-fight before fighting main villain" and has become "light urban fantasy lesbian flirting". There is still a villain and I still plan for the werewolf and slasher to fight each other before coming to the same side. There's probably not much in the way of surprises, mostly writing it for my own fun. Chapter 1: Health and Academics Summary: Lucille is getting a blood transfusion and it has consequences for her academic career and more than that.

You know along with the novel I’m currently writing I also have a neo noir/darksuperhero story in my head that I desperately want to get out into the open. It would be my love letter to the dark crime story focused Batman and daredevil comics I love. Maybe I’ll try and make an indie comic one day
