i still find it deeply odd and somewhat frustrating how even in the narrative of DR, ralsei is oftentimes ignored by other darkners unless they specifically speak to them. sometimes it's played up as a joke but other times it's just. odd when they're standing with the party and are wholly ignored

the fact that deltarune chapter 5 had a bunch of beatles references because there were beetle darkners means if there ends up being a dark world in the lake as some have theorized there could end up being blue oyster cult references in deltarune, in which case my heart would probably explode

chapter 5 can just be the stinker with a really good story about 7 darkners realising they can't win the day or his affection, it's ok
