Darrgon does stick in my mind but that's more because bro looks like a Mazinger

Darrgon was the GOAT

I remember when @itshenshinj.bsky.social and I were talking about how Darrgon should have bonded to Akito and Carmeara should have moved to being redeemed but end up backstabbed by Hudram just to avoid a repeat of Final Odyssey

Belial? Zero? Z? Darrgon? I love your art so anything you'd make of that would be amazing.

No no you’re valid, I’m more of a Darrgon person myself but I definitely see it

That's the only part of the Decker episodes with Carmeara I wasn't so keen on! I feel like the implication Carmeara will revive him and Darrgon is a major one because sure Darrgon can still be a Giant of Light but Hudram?

Hudram will just get feee and go be another Ultraman Belial

tri and i jumped off the moment sakamoto started really REALLY honing in on carmeara and darrgon wanting to fuck the main guy and main girl

Thinking on it, if Darrgon did get to be a Giant of Light in Trigger, he could have bonded to Ignis or, assuming Trigger Dark still does that weird thing where he somehow split off from Trigger, Akito or Captain Tatsumi

Carmeara betraying Darrgon like that still feels out of character for me. Yes it can be rationalized that her taking Hudram's darkness corrupted her further but it still feels wrong even considering that. Hudram doing that would have made more sense, he showed willingness to betray his comrades

Can’t disagree that Ginga really does it too. I think it feels different because I can compartmentalize Ginga in its context whereas Trigger chooses to connect itself to a particular show.

Anyhow, there are some fun things in Trigger — Ignis, Darrgon, Nurse — so I hope you enjoy it more than I did.

I think too is that they could’ve worked in Trigger if they deviated from what their counterparts were in Tiga even more. Like I would have Darrgon be fully redeemed and turned into a giant of light and had Hudram betray Carmeara and become the final threat considering he was the most evil one

SPEAKING OF.

Darrgon, buddy.

Witchlight: I played Darrgon Flexion, a Goliath abjuration wizard. He was frontlining with the fighter and convincing various NPCs to bring their A-game. In Strahd, it was Prismala Flexion, Darrgon's adopted gem Dragonborn sister. Having a radiant damage breath weapon made undead encounters quick.

Let's start with my first D&D PC who made it through a campaign. Darrgon Flexion. A Goliath Abjuration Wizard who proved that wizards can tank, and look stylish while doing so. His only downside, and the thing that brought him back to the Witchlight Carnival was a stolen sense of direction.

4) Ultraman Trigger was the first Ultra series I genuinely didn't enjoy watching at all, but Darrgon was so fun to observe that he managed to make me stick with it. Please let him show up in something else

That's not Darrgon, that's not Agul either, that's an Agul imitation
February 12, 2025 at 10:23 PM
There's a scene in Ultraman Trigger where Darrgon "smiles" at Kengo because he's on a date with Yuna even if it's completely one sided. Kengo's the only one who can see it because he's an Ultra like Darrgon is, everyone else just sees the same flat expression on his face

Darrgon. My Friend. 😢

I'm conflicted on Carmeara's apparent redemption. On one hand, it's nice to tie up some loose ends and I love the possibility of Darrgon returning. On the other... did she really deserve it after all she did? Just a thought. #UltramanDecker
