To tl;dr, you can set datarates/directions/prioritize routes on a managed, and unmanaged just sends everything out equally with no control? Or am I pulling too much from that? lol

I think this could become a bigger issue when in the future higher datarates are available as well as with the already existing PD EPR standard (which goes to 240W).

Can easily see how cable marking & advertisement will become increasingly more confusing.

Oh gotcha. What helped for me was disabling the legacy association protocols altogether, think 802.11a/b/g. Then, disabling the slower datarates on the newer protocols will cut down on a lot of the slower devices consuming airtime.

Like, this one *may* be legit. I can’t tell. But given that I’m being actively targeted by scammers right now, I can’t take that risk. ESPECIALLY since the phone number it came from is a “shortened” one that I can’t easily trace to a legit government office. The wording is also similar to clickbait.

Forget #wifi datarates and switchport speeds. What really matters are application requirements. How much throughput and capacity do you need to meet them today and in the future? It's WAY less than what the marketing folks want you to believe.

2. Hotspot to phone if signal and datarates allow.
3. Give up and read a book or something.
