if i can't recreate it on my NS2 or on a Java client i just installed off the official launcher, THEN IT AIN'T VANILLA.

What ever happened to this? I mean Java got a new component that lets us add this in with datapacks. Plus if you look at the Wilderness Bound panorama on Java, you can see that the fence posts aren't connected to the wool stairs! They are connected in game, and on Bedrocks panorama however...

updating my datapacks to 26.3 has caused me some issues, decided to try asking chatgpt about some stuff, it mostly just hallucinated answers that don't exist.
Ate some chocolate and fixed all my issues with some good old fashioned research and natural stupidity, the hype for ai makes no sense to me

i've seen a couple datapacks and mods for the Nether Reactor out there, but they're either stuck on one weird version, or they haven't changed the items generated at all
so it just gives you Glowing Obsidian and a bunch of random common junk to clutter your inventory lol

my datapack coding probably sucks sooooo bad (and i will improve it with advice if it is) but fuuuuuuck i love making minecraft datapacks and remaking project moon in some notable capacity in a fully vanilla setting

said I'm extremely thankful to the Fabric modders. They do a great job and the changing MC internals don't hold em back. Meanwhile Microsoft is paying full salaries to develop datapacks for Java and it's extremely baffling how they're going about it. It's so much wasted potential, time, and money.

Spent like the past 2 weeks working on datapack set up for a server i wanna start and i just kinda realized they're probably gonna release the fall drop not too long from now but also fuck that shit because like hell all these datapacks will be updated quick enough for me i wanna play NOW
